Methods of engraving

Glass engraving can be performed using two interesting techniques: mechanical or laser. In contrast to laser engraving, mechanical engraving is performed without heating the glass. This technique provides extraordinary effects. The process involves removing particles from the glass surface, creating a drawing, inscription or the effect of flowing color gradients. Nowadays, however, laser engraving is used more often, but it does not provide the same effects as mechanical engraving. With laser technology, the best results of a beautiful, high-contrast engraving can be achieved on glass of lower quality. The higher the quality of the glass, the less good the effects. Mechanical glass engraving provides excellent results in this case. Laser engraving is also less suitable for images that require high precision, such as graphics with finely packed dots. This results in a single illegible spot. For engravings that require precision, fine details and at the same time a beautiful effect, traditional and proven engraving methods are necessary.

What can you engrave?

The possibilities are endless. The freedom in this area is enormous. All kinds of inscriptions, dedications and especially logos can be engraved. You can make a seemingly ordinary object special. A glass decorated with such an engraving becomes an object with more meaning, and admiring it brings a smile to your face. It all depends on creativity and the idea. Glasses no longer have to have trivial inscriptions; you can have something engraved on them that is completely unique and reflects your own idea.

Each project is prepared individually according to the customer's request, both in terms of graphic design and price range. To realize an engraving with one of the above techniques, we invite you to collaborate.
